Team 2000 Trainers

We thank our excellent training team! Each trainer brought unique expertise and donated their time to educate our team in a specific area.

Chris Griscom    Internationally-acclaimed spiritual teacher, healer, and author Chris Griscom, presented the team with a weekend workshop on conscious body awareness, conscious healing and relationships.  She also instructed them on speaking presentation, through applying the techniques of her world-renowned Exercises in Consciousness. As an energetic healer, Ms. Griscom's work has inspired and touched people across the globe. Her humanitarian services and contributions in holistic health and education have been twice recognized by The Indian Board of Alternative Medicines. The Board awarded Ms. Griscom with the Sewa Chakra Award on December 2, 1996 and the Lifetime Achievement award on December 1, 1999, with specific recognition for her work with AIDS patients. Past recipients of the awards include the late Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama. The author of twelve books, translated into thirteen languages, Chris Griscom is the founder of The Light Institute and the Nizhoni School For Global Consciousness, both located in Galisteo, New Mexico.

Hugh CulverHugh Culver   After fifteen years as a professional whitewater guide and manager of the largest adventure travel company in Western Canada, Hugh turned his interests to pioneering and marketing adventure tours to the South Pole, mountain climbing expeditions and even golfing at the North Pole. For the past nine years Hugh has been leading training programs and corporate retreats that focus on team development and leadership skills. His clients include TELUS, Riverside Forest Products, Tolko Industries, Total Care Technologies, and HRI Supply. In addition to his training work, this year Hugh is launching the first West Coast business conference on soul and spirit in the workplace.

Helen Soos provided training in international development and humanitarian affairs. Ms. Soos served as a Foreign Service Officer with USAID from 1974-1996. She was assigned to Senegal, Bolivia, Kenya, Niger and Morocco, and traveled extensively to other countries in Africa, South and Central America and Eastern Europe. She currently lives in Falls Church, Virginia and works as a consultant in international development.

Chris, Hugh and Helen had to travel quite a distance to come to our 100 Mile House training center, The Hills. We are very grateful for their whole-hearted participation

We also thank those living in the immediate 100 Mile House area, who helped in many ways with the success of our team: Chris Harris, photography; David Balcaen, radio; Paul Luft, journalism; Patricia Spencer, environment; Ron Skene, ski skills; Angela Skene, conflict resolution; Toran Savjord, back-country skills; Dave Freese, kayaking; Kevin Skelcher, wilderness skills; David Balcaen, native sweat lodges.
